🎉 Stay Korea X Meteor Social Night
On May 17, Stay Korea teamed up with Meteor
to host a vibrant social networking event, Social Night,
held at a cozy beer pub in Sinchon, one of Seoul’s liveliest student districts.
From fun team activities that helped break the ice,
to filming creative Reels, enjoying drinks and comfort food,
and wrapping up with an exciting lucky draw—
it was a short but unforgettable evening full of energy, connection, and community. 👇
🕔 Part 1
✔️ Check-in & Introduction
Participants arrived at the venue, checked in,
and received a brief orientation about the event schedule.
They were then divided into teams, setting the tone for a relaxed and friendly evening.
✔️ Icebreaking Session
1️⃣ Team Jegichagi (Korean Hacky Sack)
Who knew a traditional game could bring so much laughter?
Working together as a team, participants quickly broke the ice and
bonded through this light-hearted competition.
2️⃣ Relay Sketch
A game where each team member adds to a drawing based only on the previous sketch.
The final results? Unexpected and hilarious — with everyone laughing out loud.
✔️ Team Reels Challenge 🎬
Using a reference video shared in the group chat,
each team filmed a short, creative Instagram Reel that reflected their own unique style.
It was a short window of time — but creativity was off the charts!

🌙 Part 2: Social Party & Lucky Draw
The second half of the evening was all about building friendships —
and what better way to connect than over good food, drinks, and laughter?
With crispy fried chicken, spicy tteokbokki, and a few drinks to go around,
the room quickly turned into a lively and casual gathering.
Add to that a fun language exchange session and a highly anticipated lucky draw,
and participants found themselves mingling freely, sharing stories, and making new friends in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
💬 Language Exchange
Participants were paired up across a mix of nationalities, backgrounds, and academic fields
to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations.
They shared their languages, cultures, and personal stories — from everyday slang to future dreams.
On one side, Korean students fluent in English and other foreign languages.
On the other, our international guests from countries including France, Germany, the UK, Singapore, and Sweden,
each staying with Stay Korea during their time in Seoul.
It was more than just a language exchange —
it was a moment of cultural curiosity, laughter, and connection beyond the classroom.
🎁 Lucky Draw Prizes
To keep the excitement going, a lucky draw was held during the social party — and the prizes didn’t disappoint!
- 🥇 1st Prize: One winner received a ₩100,000 Stay Korea accommodation discount voucher.
- 🥈 2nd Prize: Two winners each received a ₩50,000 Stay Korea discount voucher.
- 🥉 3rd Prize: Three participants won indoor surfing discount passes for Wave Park.
- ⭐ Special Prize: Two lucky guests received Olive Young gift cards.
As the night went on and laughter filled the room, the lucky draw added a final burst of excitement — with cheers and applause filling the space as each winner was announced.
It was the perfect way to wrap up an evening full of energy, connection, and community.
